Randall Friday writes grounded, character-driven mysteries and practical, jargon-free guides for RV owners. He lives with his wife on the western edge of Washington state, works for the state's ferry system, and has spent his life around boats, docks, and travel trailers — wandering the West by RV and paying quiet attention to the small-town, small-marina, small-campground places most people drive past.
